With degrees in Law, Ancient History and Art History, this lecturer, journalist and art critic has published over 10,000 articles in various newspapers and specialised art magazine and is a frequent contributor to Barcelona’s La Vanguardia newspaper on the art market. He has given over 200 conference papers in Spain, France, Switzerland and Portugal, and is the secretary of the BMW Prize for Painting. Since 2004 he has been president of the Madrid Art Critics’ Association (AMCA) and is the current head of the Spanish Art Critics’ Association (AECA/ AICA Spain). Tomás Paredes Romero
