COVERS COLLECTION 11 Once more, the Royal Artistic Circle of Barcelona – Barcelona Art Institute opens its doors to an artists’ display by the hand of the international art merchants and publishers LLEI D’ART, including a select collection of works that have been, or will be, on the covers of the art magazine of the same name. We were attracted by the idea of being able to support and collaborate in the organisation of an exhibition in which the artist’s rank and importance was essentially the least important thing. What was important was the great value invested in their creative talent and ability to strive for the best. This is how our beautiful medieval palace, the headquarters of our institution, carries on supporting quality, enthusiasm and work well done. The Circle, the stamp of our identity, sails on into a new era that many of us foresee as prosperous and glorious. We have restored, we have advanced and we have opened doors that contemplate the view from a new perspective. Our commsision from now broadens horizons to try to reach every corner of the planet where we can find people interested in finding out about our culture and art. Our great heritage. Today I present this display that marks new ways and forms and stands up for the restoration of beauty to current artistic creation. I hope for and wish for every success in this effort.
