LA EXPRESIÓN DEL ALMA El camino ha resultado ser tortuoso y salpicado de dificultades, pero hemos trabajado con tanto entusiasmo que apenas nos hemos percatado del tiempo transcurrido, porque a medida que íbamos avanzando, el espíritu se ha enriquecido, y las personas, también. Ese es el gran don del arte. Hemos aprendido a dejarnos llevar y fascinar por la visión de lo intangible, a buscar la inconcebible seducción de una expresión, de algo sutil que subyace tras una diestra pincelada. Nos sentimos reconfortados. Una contemporánea y sigilosa Persephone parece retar al espectador a explorar su serena y templada belleza. Son épocas de cambios de gran magnitud. La historia se pone interesante. Hace ya demasiado tiempo que se rinde pleitesía a ese sinsentido que algunos insisten en llamar contemporaneidad. Pero afortunadamente parece que los vientos se giran y que cada vez somos más en la resistencia. Apostamos por un renacer de valores, porque sólo así la vida recuperará todo su sentido y contundencia. Decidimos dejar hablar a nuestra portada por nosotros: la edición quedó agotada. THE EXPRESSION OF THE SOUL The road has been tortuous and studded with difficulties, but we have worked with such enthusiasm that we have barely noticed the time pass: as we worked, our spirit was enriched, as were the people. This is the great gift of art. We have learnt to become carried away and fasci- nated by visions of the intangible, by the search for the inconceivable seduction of an expression, of something subtle that underlies a skilful brushstroke. We feel somehow comforted. A contemporary, silent Persephone that challenges the viewer to regard her serene, composed beauty. These are times of widespread changes. History is becoming interesting. We have been paying homage to the idiocy of the nonsense described by some as modernity for too long. Fortunately, the winds are changing, and the resistance is growing. We are banking on a rebirth of values, for only this way will life regain its sense and cogency. We will let the issue speak for us: the publication sold out.
