It also organises seminars on aspects related to representation, such as perception, perspective, form, colour, harmony or beauty. Its function is to set aparadigmwithin the variousmodels of teaching visual arts, defining the foundations of art knowledge, identifying the essential elements of an art work according to the canons of experi- mentation that were set out by theBauhaus, and familiarising the stu- dent with the right techniques todo so. Thus, the students receive training in essential aspects needed to develop their artisticpracticewith skill and knowledge. This is essen- tially structured around tutorials - allowing the student to progress in a personalised fashion - andpractical workshops ledby doctors and graduates inFineArts. Thegroupwork sessions allow the students to broaden their horizonsby exchanging views andgeneratingpersonal relationships amongst themselves.
