presentación Siempre escudados tras el blasón de la excelencia, cuyaapasionantebúsqueda sehaconvertidoen todo un estandarte de nuestro hacer, no queremos dar la espaldaa la realidadyasusmásvanguardistas formas de representación. Como es de esperar en toda obra de arte que se precie de serlo, coexisten múltiples percepciones sobre una misma experimentación de lo objetivo, algo especialmente fácil de captar dentro de una sociedad poderosamente persuadida por la magia de la realidad virtual y sus innumerables interpretaciones, posiblemente todas ellas válidas, por formar parte del territorio de la imaginación, de la fantasía. Surgen formas de expresión que comprometen lo sensorial, que irrumpen con fuerza resquebrajando los esquemas clásicos más almidonados, pero que salvaguardan la devoción a la belleza y a lo exclusivo e intransferible de la experiencia estética. Desde esta nuestra realidad, hemos franqueado el paso hacia algo mucho más grande, más auténtico, pero, sobre todo, más honesto. Sí, es cierto que abogamosporprivilegiar loemocionalsobre loracional enasuntosdearte,peroesporquecreemosqueesasí como debe de ser. Es preciso hacer apostolado del buengusto, del talento, del esfuerzo, de la formación, e insistir hasta la extenuación en la importanciade un arte que exalta y conmociona hasta turbar, aunque esté enclavado en el reinode la irrealidad. There arise forms of expression that compromise the sensorial, that break out with force, shattering themore uptight clas- sical schemes but also safeguardour devotion tobeauty and themost exclusive and untransferrable nature of aes- thetic experience. From this, our own reality, we havemade the step to- wards somethingbigger,more authentic, but, evenmore importantly,more honest. Yes, it’s true that we favour the emotional over the rational inmatters of art, but it is be- causewebelieve it shouldbe thisway.We have topreach ongood taste, talent, effort, education, and insist over andover againon the importance of an art that exalts and moves one until it disturbs us, even if it is anchored in the realmof unreality.
