In viewof this and to support its future ambitions, theExecutiveCommittee of TEFAF, theworld’s leading fair for art, antiques anddesign, has appointedPatrick vanMaris as its newChief ExecutiveOfficer, with effect from 1May 2015. DutchbornPatrick vanMaris (1962) lives now inSurrey (UK) but read history at the university inAmsterdam. Havingheld several seniormanagement positions at Sotheby’s and withmore than 25 years of experience in the international art world, it seems that he has the right experience and the ambition to keep the organisationmoving forward. Paul Hustinx will commence his early retirement per September 2015 but will remain connected to the fair as advisor. Cuenta con más de veinticinco años de experiencia en el mundo del arte internacional y parece que reúne las condiciones idóneas para seguir llevando hacia adelante a la feria de arte más exclusivadel mundo. Paul Hustinx se retirará definitivamente en septiembre de este año, aunque seguirá en contacto con la organización como consultor.
