Una vez seca la pintura, se procede a finalizar la obra con perfiladores creadores de relieve en tonos metálicos, fácilmente aplicables desde su propio tubo. El toque final es un suave frotado con una gamuza impregnada en cera de abeja, procurando que no quedemás cera depositada sobre lamáscara que la que pudiera ocupar los tenues cuarteados con los que se habuscado recrear un aspecto envejecido.
