Con el afánde unir culturas, sobreponeporciones de ciudades en las que ha estado. Querer hacer convivir algunas de las fotografías de las fachadas dedos o tres edificios dediversas ciudades, es el deseodel artista. Algunas enmonocromo y otras con el colorido añadido. El resultado nodejade ser peculiar a ojos de los quebuscamos algomás de loque se ve. Cierta confusión es la impresión aprimera vista. Luego, profundizando, puedes entrever el sentidode loquequieredecir. No hay figuraciónde nada vivo. Todo es paisaje urbano sin personas. Como si loque las personas de ese lugar, que hicieron todos esos edificios, no fuesenprotagonistas del comunicado. No hay anécdotas vivenciales. Todo es estático, quietud, silencio. Pombo nos hablade su creación, diceque efectúa la técnicade capa a capabuscando undialogo entre imágenes arquitectónicas de lugares distantes en el espacio y tiempo. The artist’s desire is tobring together photos of façades of buildings from various cities: some inmonochrome and somewith added colour. The result is somewhat odd for those of us that are looking for somethingbeyondwhat we can see. The first impression is one of confusion, but upon looking deeper, themeaningof what hewants to say canbe glimpsed. There is no representationof anything living - everything is an urban landscapebereft of people. It’s as though thepeople from that place, those thatmade the buildings, were not the authors of themessage. There is no existential narrative: everything is static, quiet, silent.
